Claim or update this listingJoint Initiatives is the El Paso County local coordinating organization for Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK). UPK gives every child in the year before kindergarten at least 15 hours a week of free preschool (August-May) at a participating school, center or licensed home provider; some families qualify for 30 free hours based on income and other factors. 3-year-olds with an IEP can also apply. Joint Initiatives helps families who do not yet have a seat find a UPK provider. It cannot edit applications; the state help desk handles technical issues.
